Messages and chat safety
How chat works, message requests, blocking and how Aioby protects conversations.
Open Messages to see all your conversations. When you chat with a business, the owner sees you as the customer and you see the business.
Privacy
- Your messages are stored encrypted and are private between you and the other party.
- Aioby staff never browse conversations. A message is reviewed only when someone reports it, and only the reported evidence is shown.
Staying in control
- Message requests: a first message from someone you do not know can arrive as a request you accept or decline.
- Block: open a conversation or profile, tap the menu, then Block. Blocked people cannot message or follow you.
- Report: report a conversation that breaks the rules. Aioby can warn, restrict or ban the sender.
- Scam warnings: chat shows a banner when a message looks like a common scam pattern.
Please note: Never share OTPs, card numbers or passwords in chat, and never pay in advance to someone you cannot verify.
