What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, making your next visit easier and the site more useful to you.

How we use cookies

Aioby uses cookies to:

  • Keep you signed in to your account
  • Remember your chosen country and city
  • Remember your cookie consent choice
  • Understand how people use our Platform (only if you accept analytics cookies)

Your theme (light/dark) and language preference are stored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie — they never leave your device.

Essential cookies

These cookies are necessary for the Platform to function. They enable core features like signing in and maintaining your session. You cannot opt out of essential cookies while using Aioby.

Functional cookies

These cookies remember your preferences (like your chosen country and city) to provide a better experience. They are not strictly necessary but improve usability.

Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how people use Aioby so we can improve it. No personally identifiable information is collected in analytics cookies, and — unlike before — they are never set until you accept them. You'll see a consent banner on your first visit; you can change your choice at any time below.

Third-party cookies

Some third-party services we use may set their own cookies:

  • Razorpay — Payment processing for India transactions (essential for checkout)
  • Stripe — Aioby subscription billing only (essential for that transaction)
  • Mapbox — Maps and location search
  • Google Analytics (GA4) — Usage analytics, only after you accept below
  • Sentry — Error monitoring, to keep the Platform running reliably

These are governed by their respective privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of data processors.

Managing cookies

You can change your analytics cookie choice at any time:

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View and delete existing cookies
  • Block cookies from specific sites
  • Block third-party cookies
  • Clear all cookies when you close the browser

Please note: disabling essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or using key features of Aioby.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Significant changes will be communicated via the Platform.
