Stay safe: simple rules
Meet in public
For used items, vehicles and viewings, meet in a public place in daylight and bring someone for expensive items.
Inspect before you pay
Check the item, the papers and the seller’s ID. Take a test drive or trial where it makes sense.
Never share OTPs or PINs
No genuine buyer, seller or Aioby team member needs your OTP, UPI PIN or password.
You never approve to receive
A collect request or a request to approve a payment is a scam — receiving money never needs approval.
Watch for pressure
Rushing you, overpaying, asking for a “token” or moving you to another app are warning signs.
Keep records
Keep chats, receipts and payment references. They help if something goes wrong.
Never pay to get a job
Genuine employers do not charge application, training or “security” fees. Report any job ad that asks you to pay, and check the employer’s store page before you share documents.

What does the verified badge mean?
A verified badge means the business has been through Aioby’s proof-based verification. It is open to every store on every plan. It is a signal, not a guarantee, so still read reviews and check details.
How do I report a listing, post or profile?
Use the report option on the item, or contact us through the Contact page or at legal@aioby.com with a link and a short description.
Will Aioby ever ask for my OTP or UPI PIN?
No. Never share an OTP, UPI PIN or password with anyone, including anyone who says they are from Aioby.
How are payments handled?
For online payments in India, payments are processed by Razorpay and Aioby does not store your card details. Many deals are agreed directly between buyer and seller; pay only after you have checked the item.
What happens to a store or listing that breaks the rules?
We may reject, unpublish or remove it. We tell the owner the reason where possible, and stores and listings can be fixed and resubmitted for review. See the Community Guidelines.
How do I claim my business if someone else listed it?
Open the store page and choose the claim option. You will be asked for your details and can upload proof of ownership, which our team reviews.
